Type on Bob Brady, you crazy child!!!

Not content to "just spin the shit" through the conventional media, Bob Brady has embarked on a new career as blogger and yesterday he blessed Philadelphia with his second installment of his "blog" over at YPP. He wishes us all a happy holidays and admits he would have written sooner had he not unintentionally deleted himself.

"I hit a wrong key and deleted myself, daaaaaa."

Thank you Young Philly Politics for making possible this great moment in Philadelphia literary history. I suspect I will never ever tire of laughing at this quote. Just think of the metaphysical implications alone. For instance, is "daaaaaa" the sound Bob Brady thinks he would make upon disappearing into oblivion??? How long did he struggle with the dark forces of the delete key before he was able to announce his triumphant return to the bogosphere!?!? And who knew Bob Brady could be deleted, let along by simply hitting the wrong key!!! Can this happen to me? Or is this "risk of deletion" just some special feature of the Young Philly Politics interface???

There are stories to be told. And here's to hoping one of Bob's New Year resolutions is to keep us abreast of his constant struggles with the dangers of the blogosphere.

In any event, I just set up a CafePress store and once I get all the kinks worked out, I intend to make t-shirts with this quote available. If any luck, I'll have one of the gang on It's Always Sunny sporting these threads in the upcoming season.
